GEDENKVERANSTALTUNG FÜR GÜNTER GRASS


On 10 May 2015, around 900 friends and companions from the fields of culture, media, politics and business bid farewell to Günter Grass at a memorial service in the Theater Lübeck. At the subsequent reception in the Museum Garden, Federal President Joachim Gauck described the commemorative event as a "total work of art".

The exhibition shows the artist from his lesser known lyrical side and takes a look behind the grand gesture of the "painter prince".
